Back in June Peter van Nes sent me a link to a project he had just completed called Grandpa’s Family Channel. It allows members of a family to email pictures and videos accompanied by text to a Raspberry Pi which automatically displays the last few received items. It includes a web browser interface for remote status monitoring and control of the system.
The application is built it around Pi Presents and I thought it a rather lovely and unusual use of my program. I can see uses for this idea in many applications where remote deployment of Pi Presents is required.
